Thanks to the warm support of the people of Shinagawa Ward, as well as the devoted efforts made by those who are concerned, the long awaited O Art Museum is finally opened, in which we, Juridical Foundation, Shinagawa Cultural Promotion Association, take uppermost pleasure.

The Juridical Foundation, Shinagawa Cultural Promotion Association was founded in February 1986, for the purpose of responding to the various cultural needs from the Shinagawan people, and promoting further cultural infrastructure of the Ward. The O Art Museum was opened as one of the Foundationfs projects.

The Museum will be an innovative multipurpose one: besides showing art works, mainly contemporary ones, we will provide the space and facilities for your publicizing artworks of your make.

To celebrate the opening of the Museum, we take pleasure in announcing the opening of the Exhibition of the Artists of Shinagawa, which will give an extensive view over the works by the artists who live and act in Shinagawa Ward. We hope you will enjoy yourself, during the First and the Second Showing of the Exhibition, with the exhibits full of imagination and sensitivity.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the artists who kindly sent us their works, and those who are concerned with the realization of this Exhibition of the Artists in Shinagawa.
