O Art Museum is run by the Juridical Foundation, Shinagawa Cultural Promotion Association, which is totally financed by Shinagawa Ward. It is located on the second floor of the No. 2 building of Ohsaki New City, and it is a multi-purpose art museum that can be used as a space for appreciating art or for presenting one’s art works to the public. It was named “O”, which is the first letter of Ohsaki, the name of the place where the museum is located, and whose shape also represents the loop of the Yamanote-line on which Ohsaki station is. The museum aims at a new type of the museum full of modern sense.
